THE ESSENCE OF SINGING…

NURTURING YOUR MIND, BODY, SPIRIT, AND VOICE THROUGH SONG;

I love singing and working with those who love singing. It is my intention to make this blog a forum for the joy and appreciation of the art of singing. It is for all singers and those interested in singing-no matter what your style or genre. So feel free to express and contribute to this movement as you like. Below you will find individual products that will be sold separately, as well as in comprehensive program formats for your preview! To obtain more information about my music or my love for the art, please feel free to visit any of the websites at the end of this blog!

HOW TO MAKE SINGING JOYFUL AND FUN AGAIN!!

1. STOP MAKING YOUR LIFE and YOUR SINGING DIFFICULT.

Singing is one of the greatest joys and pleasures in life. To be able to express yourself through song is a Divine experience. Learn to enjoy the process of living and making music.

2. JUST SING!

Let go of any apprehensions you may have about your singing abilities. Just concentrate on the melody and let the rhythm take control of you.

Low or NO COST Things You Can Do to

Jump Start your Singing Career!

1. Next time you are at a live performance walk up to the band leader ask him/her can you sing a song. Find a song that the band knows. Then SING YOUR HEART OUT. If that goes well and it should if you know the song, ask the leader can you sing 3 songs with the band at their next gig.

 2. Get your Business Cards Printed!!! Too many singers underestimate the value of having a business card. However, it allows you to present yourself as a professional to the world and to present yourself as someone who is serious about pursuing a career as a singer or artist.

“You can’t fake this music,” she said. “You might be a great singer or a great musician but, in the end, that’s got nothing to do with it. It’s how you connect to the songs and to the history behind them.”

~ Etta James ~

“Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and
fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream.
Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success.”

~ Lao Tzu ~

“When I dare to be powerful to use my strengths in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.”

~ Poet Audre Lord ~
